She grew up in the private Upper East Side of Manhattan with an elitist Catholic family. The parents of her were enrolled in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious and elitist institution. Music was her passion since childhood. She first began playing piano when she was an infant. When she was thirteen when she was thirteen, she began writing her first song.
