Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel, and jazz into his distinctive style. The singer's career has taken her all over the world, from Broadway to European festivals and clubs and even to at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is a name that she has given her was Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing the piano and singing in church. Her music career started in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan; it has been remixed since by a variety of producers and has become an essential part of her live set. She has also contributed her voice to the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. She was appointed as the principal keyboardist for Tyler Perry's musical Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls, the theatre production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition for her daily shows at the Democratic National Convention. She was later invited to sing at President Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration.
