Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the United States. She is currently the president and controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California, grew up with an impressive life. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon before becoming the owner of the Lakers. In 1972, her parents split together and she felt abandoned. At the age of 19, she was employed for the family's business. Later, she established her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. Her first role was vice-president for the Lakers prior to taking over the presidency of the Great Western Forum. Buss, her five sisters and brothers, as well as their father, who owned the Lakers and ruled them until his death in 2013, took over this ownership through the trust. Each of them were entitled to equal the right to vote. Her duties were assumed as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss has also been a part-owner of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling group).
